The Bharatiya Janata Mazdoor Cell launched a street protest in West Bengal, alleging “continuous exploitation” and “looting” of workers under the present state government. The agitation aimed to highlight labour-related grievances and draw public attention to what the organisation described as worsening conditions for workers across the state.
As part of the movement, the South Kolkata District Mazdoor Cell organised a large “Badlav March” from Rashbehari Crossing to Gariahat Crossing. A sizeable procession was taken out along the route, with participants raising slogans and demanding change, marking a visible show of protest in south Kolkata.
